Our Centre in Chorlton has been part of Manchester since 1992 and is a residential Centre with a large beautiful meditation room and World Peace Cafe.
The Centre was originally built in the 1850’s as an art studio and then later became a dance studio. This means that the meditation room is a beautiful space on the first floor with skylights offering plenty of light and an original canadian maple wooden floor. With Chorlton being a conservation area we also have the good fortune of plenty of trees and are a short walk from Chorlton Ees Nature Reserve that has woodlands, rivers and lakes to walk around.
The Centre is residential and at times when available, offers rooms to rent for those wishing to live in a simple, peaceful environment and become involved in the activities of the Centre. The Centre is vegetarian and no alcohol, smoking or loud music etc is permitted.
The World Peace Cafe is attached to the Centre but has its own entrance. It offers vegetarian and vegan food and we hope you will find the coffee is very good and freshly ground (if it is not please let us know)
